SHARK RIVER LITTER CLEANUP

WITH SHARK RIVER CLEANUP COALITION

Saturday, June 28, 2025

Bring your own boat (BYOB) or rent from us.

We are excited to partner with SRCC for our annual floating litter cleanup. We are eager to get on the water and clean up areas of Shark River that we cannot access from land.

Paddle Time Kayaks provides a great opportunity for experienced kayakers to leave their own boat at home (keep it clean) and “leave the hassle to us”.

Our services are weather & wind dependent. We will refund you if we cancel your reservation for any reason.

If you need to cancel, please text us as soon as possible. Text (732) 449-2593 or dial 0 if you call.

See you at the water!

Sincerely,

Kira & Jeremy Lang

Please be aware:

  • Prior experience kayaking is necessary; “floating” litter cleanups are not the time to learn how to maneuver around and keep your balance while reaching and leaning.

  • Participants must prepay their spot and complete our waiver (in addition to the event host waiver) before the event.

  • Everyone must wear a PFD (life jacket)!

  • Litter cleanup by paddlecraft is recommended for ages 14+ with a parent or guardian present.

  • Dress to get wet and dirty! We recommend non-cotton quick-dry clothes and old sneakers or “water shoes”. No bare feet.

We love our oceans, ecosystems, and wildlife, and have always participated locally in land litter cleanups over the years. Now that we have our small kayak business, we really enjoy partnering with local non-profit organizations to support the cleanup efforts by way of paddlecraft!

The main advantages of litter cleanups by kayak are removing “floatables” and accessing areas that are hard to access on foot.
